Influenza vaccination autumn 2026

Dear Botnia Företagshälsovård r.f. / Botnia Työterveys ry member company,

The influenza season is approaching again. Fast-spreading flu can lead to prolonged sick leave among people in the workforce. The most effective protection against influenza is the vaccine, which gives up to 80% protection against infection.

As an employer, you can provide your employees with the opportunity to get vaccinated through Botnia occupational health care. This year we are using the Influvac Tetra vaccine.

If you would like to offer your staff the vaccine, we kindly ask you to confirm this with our secretaries by email at info@botniary.fi no later than Friday 2.10.

Please note that we offer a limited number of vaccine doses through Botnia. If the demand exceeds the supply, we can’t guarantee vaccination for everyone who would like to have it.

The vaccination dates and further instructions on how to book an appointment for vaccination will be sent to the companies that confirm by 2.10. that they are offering vaccination.

If you wish for us to come and administer the vaccines at your place of work, please notify us when you confirm that you are offering vaccination. Your own nurse will contact you for further arrangements.
