Occupational health care with member companies as owners
Botnia Työterveys ry (the Botnia Occupational Health Association) is a local provider of occupational health services. The association is owned by its member companies and has been operating in Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia since the mid-1970s. We are an officially bilingual organisation with a staff fluent in Finnish, Swedish, and English. Our personnel also have a deep understanding of the local business environment and community.
We provide services to hundreds of companies in the Jakobstad and Kokkola regions. The association’s board is composed of representatives from the member companies and the operational activities are led by a managing director. All member companies are invited to the association’s spring and autumn meetings. During the autumn meeting, board members are elected for the upcoming year.
We are members of the Occupational Health Care Quality Network and the Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce, and we operate according to the Key Flag mark for services produced in Finland. In addition, we have been awarded the Finnish Social Enterprise mark.
